Cheeks — Support, Standing and What Is Built
गालों का मतलब · gaalon ka matlab
The cheeks are read twice in the classical scheme — once in the wealth seat, as standing and the cushion a reputation provides, and once in the seat of kinship, as the support that arrives without being asked. Full cheeks and lean cheeks are both complete readings; what differs is where the support comes from and when it peaks.
What do the cheeks say about wealth?
Śubha · favourableFull cheeks — support arrives through people, especially in your middle years.
Even cheeks without lateral hollow are read as support arriving from people rather than from circumstance, and the texts locate the years this applies to in the map running across the middle third of the face.
Lakṣaṇa · structuralModerate cheeks — help comes when asked for, not before.
The kapola sit at moderate fullness. The corpus reads this as support that is available when asked for and not otherwise — a network that is real but will not act on your behalf unprompted.
Lean cheeks read as support that must be built rather than inherited. The texts say when the built kind starts to outperform the given kind.
The reading tells you if this form is present in your measurements, and what the texts advise when it is.
What do the cheeks reveal about support in life?
Śubha · favourableFull cheek support — kin arrive without being called; a protective mark.
Full kapola read bilaterally are taken as kin who arrive without being called. The texts count this among the marks that reduce the severity of nearly every other unfavourable finding in a reading.
Lakṣaṇa · structuralModerate cheek support — kin arrive when called; most people have this.
Moderate cheek support is read as kin who arrive when asked. The corpus notes, without judgement, that most people carry this mark and most people believe they carry the fuller one.
Thin cheek support means help exists but must be asked for. The texts treat the asking itself as the work — and name what happens when it is skipped.
Whether your face carries this mark — and the classical counsel if it does — is part of the full reading.
Common questions
Are full cheeks a good sign in face reading?
The texts read full cheeks as support that arrives unasked — inherited standing, in the widest sense. Lean cheeks read as support that must be built, and the corpus notes when the built kind starts to outperform the given kind. Both are workable; they peak at different ages.
Do cheekbones mean power?
Not in Sāmudrika. The cheek readings concern support and standing; authority is read at the jaw and mid-forehead. The 'high cheekbones = power' idea belongs to other traditions.
